Cypraea nivosa originaires du Golfe du Bengale: de Ceylan au nord de Sumatra et des côtes Indiennes à la Birmanie en passant en ligne droite par Nicobar et Andaman. J'ai obtenu celles-ci en Espagne dans un curios pour 80 Fr. pièce (1998). Elles sont justes adultes mais sans plus. Taille: 48 et 48 mm.
Cypraea nivosa originally from the Bay of Bengal: from Ceylon to northern Sumatra and Indian coasts to Burma by passing in a straight line by Andaman and Nicobar. I got them in Spain in a curio shop for 80 Fr each (1998). They are just adults but no more. Size: 48 and 48 mm.
Deux autre Cypraea nivosa issues d' une ancienne collection dans un état parfait; les couleurs paraissent aussi fraîches qu' à l' origine. Il est a noter que l' animal encore à l' intérieur, tout désséché, tombe en poussière.... Elles proviennent de l' Archipel des Mergui (Mathews Island) en Birmanie où elles vivaient sous des coraux sur la crête récifale. Taille: 50 et 55 mm.
Two other Cypraea nivosa from an old collection in perfect condition, the colors look as fresh that originally. It should be noted that the animal still inside, while parched, turns to dust .... They come from the Mergui Archipelago (Mathews Island) in Burma where they lived under corals on the reef crest. Size: 50 and 55 mm.
